As we step into 2026, we celebrate a landmark year: the Golden Jubilee of our College. It is a moment to reflect on 50 years of medical excellence while charting a bolder future for healthcare in West Africa.
From our founding in 1976, the Nigeria Chapter has grown into the largest and most vibrant pillar of the College. We continue to lead the region in postgraduate training and specialist certification, producing the distinguished physicians who serve our nation and beyond.
I urge every Fellow and Member to join us for our historic 50th AGSM in Ibadan (July 5–11, 2026). Abstract submissions are now open—let us make this gathering an unforgettable milestone in our history.
